Pleitez Produce Farm

Pleitez Produce is a family owned farm in the heart of Westmoreland County. Established in 2002, it is run by Alex and Astrid Pleitez with help from their children Joana, Gabriela, Maria and Osiel. With 50 acres of cultivated land they have a dazzling array of produce including tomatoes, tomatillos, beans, peppers, okra, and much more. They utilize 7 greenhouses to extend their growing season. Not certified organic but use a Virginia Cooperative Extension agent for pest management, drip irrigation, and avoid using GMOs and growth hormones. They accept WIC and VA Senior Checks.
