Hello, my name is Cory, and I am the founder of Food Street. My passion for food, especially the vibrant and diverse world of street food, began many years ago. I've always been captivated by the unique stories behind each vendor, the incredible flavors they create, and the sense of community that forms around these culinary experiences. When I moved to the DMV area, I noticed that often times the hidden food gems aren't easy to find without a scavenger hunt. These vendors and the food they offer deserve the spotlight as much as anyone else.

This realization, coupled with my desire to support local businesses and amplify the visibility of talented chefs, inspired me to create Food Street. My goal is to simplify the discovery process for customers and empower vendors to reach a wider audience, ultimately fostering a thriving and connected street food community.

Hello! My name is Katie and I serve as the Chief Technology Officer here at Food Street. My journey into tech began with a deep curiosity about how digital tools shape the way we connect, discover, and experience the world around us. With a background in software engineering and a master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, I’ve always been drawn to creating intuitive, meaningful technology that puts people first.

When Cory came to me with his vision for Food Street, I immediately saw the potential to merge my skills with a mission we all cared about: making it easier to find and support the incredible street food vendors who shape our communities. Together, our goal is to use technology to bring people closer to the flavors, stories, and cultures that make street food so special.

Hello! My name is Mick and I am the Head of Development at Food Street. I have always had an interest in computers and programming, and graduated from the University of Dayton with a Computer Science degree. I have spent my entire professional career doing software development, and have extensive experience with creating seamless user experiences.

When Cory and Katie brought me on board, I was eager to join a talented team, and knew that we had the skills to see our goal through of creating a product that is great for vendors and users alike. Ultimately we see the need for easy software to use to make our communities better
