Local owner/fisherman Zac Culbertson lives just outside Charlottesville and runs a small acreage family farm. He fishes on Bristol Bay's Ugashik River from mid-June to the end of July, selling the best catch to customers in Virginia and DC. Cold Country Salmon is known for its special handling process that sets their fish apart from other wild-caught salmon on the market.
